Pros

it does have some nice features like ability to do cover my meds, leave notes on rx, add new codes when needed

Cons

it has not kept up with the new technologies available. we have a horrible time with adding new things like mtm and when there is a problem it often takes weeks to resolve

Comments

"I would not recommend to anyone. I would go elsewhere if It was financially feasible which it is not at this time."

Pros

The software is very easy to navigate, technicians can learn and adapt fast to it. Typing e-scripts on it makes it easy since it auto populates and there's minimal error to add a wrong patient on a different profile. Another strength I see compared to other soft wares I have used in the past is that autofill is very easy compared to Etreby that doesn't let you autofill. Queue history is easily understood as to signatures, last fill date, ticket numbers. I can directly submit c2 to Pharmacy board

Cons

sometimes doesn't work like when its has invalid switch from response. Sometimes, you can verify scripts without actually paying much attention cause all you have to do is click ENTER many times. There are no highlights and if you are not so attentive, you will keep clicking without really paying 100 percent attention to your scripts. Prescription auto fill can not be postdated (i.e cannot be scheduled for a later date) so you have to do it daily but Liberty sys has that advantage over Suite Rx.

Comments

"I think it's a nice software to use because I have used Etreby, McKESSON and Liberty before but I'm most comfortable with Suite Rx. "

Pros

Interfaces with virtually every key 3rd party in pharmacy. Quick MAR, Surecost, iMedicare, Pyxis, etc. Great accounting Package; Full document management capabilities; Auto reconciliation for third party payors. On line web portal for customers is a big hit.

Cons

Occasional bugs in software can be a nuisance, but typically get fixed within the next scheduled update. But no pharmacy system I worked with has had a seamless update process. We do experioence speed issues at times, but after some research, code is typically written to fine tune the processes, which then speeds up the system.

Comments

"SuiteRX is a breathe of fresh air in the pharmacy systems arena. There are unlimited capabilities. Many times we ask if a function is available, and it usually is. If it is not yet created, SuiteRX makes an honest effort to add requested functionality to future versions. Our pharmacy just began using Star Rating functions, the interface with UPS delivery, and fax to email, in addition to all the other features. SuitRx doesn't just fill prescriptions, it helps runs our business!"

Pros

The bill screen allows me to process a large amount of billing information easily and accurately. SuiteRx is the ONLY system that has a direct fax server... no need to re-scan incoming faxes, which is the vast majority of our LTC pharmacy documentation. Customer service is accessible via phone, email, or chat box where programmers can view your screen and know exactly what's going on. We switched from Rx30 and are so glad we did!

Cons

Our older, less tech savvy staff struggled initially with change, which I believe would have happened with any system conversion.

Comments

"The number one thing I can say about SuiteRx is that their people, from programmers to support staff to the CEO, himself, take a personal interest in the success of the system and, therefore, my pharmacy."

Pros

SuiteRx can be customized to fit the unique needs of any pharmacy. I appreciate the responsiveness of their team to fix and enhance the product for all users.

Cons

I wish SuiteRx offered a cloud based host server. We spend a lot of resources securing and protecting our database against potential threats.

Comments

"SuiteRx has allowed our pharmacy to grow and remain competitive in our market. I am thankful to have SuiteRx as a business partner."
