Pros

It is a pretty easy system to use but does have some glitches. its not as advanced system like some other systems i have worked on like in CVS. It has a lot of improvements to do.

Cons

The system is slow a lot of times and their wholesaler mckesson has a lot of products that are always out of stock. Its not so up to date and needs to update and be able to do things a bit faster and easier like other systems.

Pros

Easy to use and train new employee's. Easy to get help without having to call McKesson using the help button with a lot of topics.

Cons

Lots of pointing and clicking to fill one prescription. Sometimes difficult to filter for the proper reports you want printed.

Pros

When we can't figure out what's going on with a rejection we are getting when we put a prescription through from the insurance, we can call the help desk and we can remote them into our system and they can help us get it fixed usually. Also if we call our main Pharmacy rep he can usually get back to us within the day and get our questions answered within a couple days if he doesn't already know the answer but he usually does.

Cons

We have issues with the day supply and it confuses our customers. Sometimes when we do call the help desk for a problem that we are having with our system, we have to wait on hold for sometimes longer than 10 minutes.

Comments

"All in all I feel like McKesson is a great company to work with. It's really nice to have a specific rep that we can call and he can help us with anything we need."

Pros

ease of use linked up to our wholesaler with ease (with that being mckesson) pos system pretty straightforward

Cons

Reports are hard to generate double billing have to reverse primary doesnt auto link rx to one on file

"it is easy to run. there is better systems out there. if i was starting a new pharmacy i would go with someone else"

Pros

Easy to navigate and simple to train staff; customer service is usually able to help correct any problem/issue.

Cons

Needs more printing options for reports. Just a few small changes. Costly. Seems like constant updates/issues.
