Amerisource Bergen (ABC)

Pros

I have used this system for over 3 years for billing and compound prescriptions. This system is Windows-based and very easy to use. However, since it is based in CA, any customers on the East coast will have to wait until their support opens at 12pm EST. Also, this system is EXTREMELY affordable. Probably one of the cost-effective systems out there. The report generating capabilities are amazing and customer service overall is absolutely excellent.

Pros

The software is very easy to use. We converted over from cerner and had an easy transition. The system is very affordable compared to other options we looked into at the time. Reports and interfaces with other 3rd party companies are very easy to use. All reports are customizable. The staff is very understanding of urgency of issues. They update our inventory from our wholesalers.

Cons

Submitting to coupons can not be sent as 1 transactions with primary insurance. Saturday they close earlier than wished.

"We had an easy transition from our previous software but there was some minor issues but the staff addressed them quickly and made us feel at ease. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about how things should run. They are constantly doing updates to the program to improve it. When we call in they always find a solution to our issues. "

Pros

Good window based system, Developer has made it very complicated merging requirements od different practice set up.

Cons

Need better tech support & customer service. Always on hold or no response. Need more simplified & Precise system

Pros

I have been around other softwares and this by far is the easiest to use. It has a great LTC module that speeds up our work flow process. They are constantly updating the program which is a plus. Great Delivery App feature.

Cons

Wish they would announce all new features as it would make it easier to learn them once they are available. We typically run across them (They do release big features and announce it)
